February film - Can You Ever Forgive Me - Monday, 11th February and Wednesday, 20th February
The February film, Can You Ever Forgive Me, will be screening on
Monday, 11th February - 5.30pm and
Wednesday, 20th February - 7.00pm
This will be the last film of the 2018/9 season!
The new 2019/20 season will kick off in March with another 11 interesting / exiting / unusual films. New membership passes will be available from the 11th February - we hope to see you again at the cinema for another year.
Can You Ever Forgive Me
Lee Israel (Melissa McCarthy) made her living in the 1970's and 80's profiling the likes of Katharine Hepburn, Tallulah Bankhead, Estee Lauder and journalist Dorothy Kilgallen. When Lee is no longer able to get published because she has fallen out of step with current tastes, she turns her art form to deception, abetted by her loyal friend Jack (Richard E. Grant). An adaptation of the memoir "Can You Ever Forgive Me?" relays the true story of the best-selling celebrity biographer (and friend to cats).
